GoGreen Home Energy Financing
Eligible projects can range from home EV charging to solar + battery and efficiency upgrades.
GoGreen Home is a State of California-administered program working with participating lenders. Eligible measures can include Wi-Fi-enabled EV chargers, bundled solar + battery storage, heat pumps, HVAC improvements, insulation, windows, cool roofs, water heating, pool equipment, lighting, appliances and other efficiency measures.
Program information also allows select DIY measures and may permit up to 30% of financing for other home improvements when current program requirements are met.

What is GoGreen Home Energy Financing?
GoGreen Home Energy Financing is a State of California-administered program that works with participating lenders to help eligible California residents finance qualifying home energy-efficiency improvements.
Can GoGreen Home financing be used for a home EV charging station?
Eligible Wi-Fi-enabled home EV charging station projects may qualify. Certain related electrical work needed for the installation may also be eligible, subject to current program requirements and lender approval.
Can I finance solar and battery storage?
Eligible clean-energy measures can include bundled solar plus battery storage, battery storage added to preexisting solar, and solar hot-water heating.
Can I install any qualifying upgrades myself?
Yes. GoGreen Home allows self-installation of select qualifying energy-efficiency measures. Your participating lender guides you through the DIY process and eligible project expenses.
Can the financing cover other home improvements too?
Program information states that at least 70% of financing is used for eligible projects and related costs, while up to 30% may be used for other home improvements, subject to current program requirements.
Does California Contractors approve the financing?
No. California Contractors is the contractor. Participating lenders handle financing applications, underwriting, rates, terms, and approval.
